The 2 of Clubs coordinate

John Elway's birthday maps to the 2 of Clubs (The Collaborative Builder). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about induction and not a verdict on John Elway. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You think with someone else and still leave the conversation with a position of your own. Life-direction language from the harvested meaning, not a biography: Your curriculum is learning that true collaboration requires two distinct thinkers, not one chameleon. You're learning to have your own perspective and keep it. Under-expressed language from the same harvest: You keep the debate open so you never have to pick. Indecision wears the mask of fairness.

The public formula uses only month and day. Solar value equals fifty-five minus twice the month minus the day. Values one through fifty-two map onto the deck from the Ace of Hearts through the King of Spades. Solar value zero is December 31, published here as the Joker. Card Blueprints does not remap that boundary to the King of Spades on these pages. Leap-day February 29 is computed directly and is not folded onto February 28. The year of birth is unused. No reading is generated and nothing here forecasts a roster, a vote, a championship, or a career. Evidence sentences are copied from the Wikipedia extract without paraphrase. If a Hall of Fame biography or an infobox day disagrees with Wikidata, the person is omitted instead of reconciled by guesswork. Attribution stays on Wikidata, Wikipedia, and the Hall of Fame record. Gregorian day precision is required; Wikidata claims are CC0. Sitelinks and wbgetentities are the identity crosswalk. Conflicts stay uninvented. Remainder dates are not disambiguated by hand.

John Elway in the public record

Following his playing career, he then spent 11 years with the Broncos in various front office positions, eventually being promoted to general manager. Elway and former backup quarterback and head coach Gary Kubiak are the only individuals to be associated with all three of the Broncos' Super Bowl wins. Elway is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the sport. At the time of his retirement in early 1999, Elway had the most victories by a starting quarterback and was statistically the second most prolific passer in NFL history. He was also a prolific rusher of the ball, being one of only two players to score a rushing touchdown in four different Super Bowls (the other being Thurman Thomas) and the only quarterback to do so. While playing college football at Stanford, Elway set several career records for passing attempts and completions and also received unanimous All-American honors. He was the first selection in the 1983 NFL draft, famously known as the "quarterback class of 1983", where he was taken by the Baltimore Colts before being traded to the Denver Broncos. In January 1987, Elway embarked on one of the most notable performances in sports and in NFL history, helping engineer a 98-yard, game-tying touchdown drive in the AFC Championship Game against the Cleveland Browns, a moment later dubbed "The Drive".

Where the record meets the 2 of Clubs

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about John Elway, and not a forecast of induction.
