The 5 of Diamonds coordinate

Mike Webster's birthday maps to the 5 of Diamonds (The Dynamic Entrepreneur). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about induction and not a verdict on Mike Webster. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You adjust the resource plan when the ground moves, without pretending nothing changed. Life-direction language from the harvested meaning, not a biography: Your curriculum is learning that real wealth requires staying with something long enough to build it. You're learning commitment over opportunity-chasing. Under-expressed language from the same harvest: Fear of loss freezes the next move. The safe choice is the one that does not happen.

The public formula uses only month and day. Solar value equals fifty-five minus twice the month minus the day. Values one through fifty-two map onto the deck from the Ace of Hearts through the King of Spades. Solar value zero is December 31, published here as the Joker. Card Blueprints does not remap that boundary to the King of Spades on these pages. Leap-day February 29 is computed directly and is not folded onto February 28. The year of birth is unused. No reading is generated and nothing here forecasts a roster, a vote, a championship, or a career. Evidence sentences are copied from the Wikipedia extract without paraphrase. If a Hall of Fame biography or an infobox day disagrees with Wikidata, the person is omitted instead of reconciled by guesswork. Attribution stays on Wikidata, Wikipedia, and the Hall of Fame record. Gregorian day precision is required; Wikidata claims are CC0. Sitelinks and wbgetentities are the identity crosswalk. Conflicts stay uninvented. Remainder dates are not disambiguated by hand.

Where the record meets the 2 of Spades

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Mike Webster, and not a forecast of induction.

2♠ — PRC Life Spread — Mars, fixed to the 5♦, from the published 2 of Spades meaning

An avid weightlifter, Webster was known for playing with bare arms regardless of the weather to keep opponents from grabbing his sleeves; as his techniques were primarily done to reduce holding calls, this eventually led teams and athletic suppliers to gradually shorten the sleeves on football jerseys to the point that the sleeves were nonexistent and several teams' jersey stripes (including the Steelers) no longer went around the sleeve and in many cases were partially missing.

Paired on shared wording: calls, holding. This line comes from the Mars position of the J♦'s Life Spread.
