A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Nobel Prize.

In the record

Alain Jean Aspect (French: [aspɛ] ; born 15 June 1947) is a French physicist noted for his experimental work on quantum entanglement. The birth-card coordinate for June 15 is the 2 of Diamonds — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 2022 Physics prize.

The 2 of Diamonds coordinate

Alain Aspect's birthday maps to the 2 of Diamonds (The Financial Partner). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Nobel Prize and not a verdict on Alain Aspect. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You name the exchange out loud and keep it fair for both sides.

Alain Aspect in the public record

Aspect's experiment (1980–1982) bears his name. Aspect was awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics, jointly with John Clauser and Anton Zeilinger, "for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science". In 2025 he was elected to the Académie Française. Aspect is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS Cachan, today part of Paris-Saclay University). He passed the agrégation in physics in 1969 and received his PhD degree in 1971 from the École supérieure d'optique (later known as Institut d'Optique Graduate School) of Université d'Orsay (later known as Université Paris-Sud). He then taught for three years in Cameroon as a replacement for then compulsory military service. In the early 1980s, while working on his doctorat d'État (habilitation thesis), he performed the Bell test experiments that showed that Albert Einstein, Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen's putative reductio ad absurdum of quantum mechanics, namely that it implied 'ghostly action at a distance', did in fact appear to be realized when two particles were separated by an arbitrarily large distance (see EPR paradox and Aspect's experiment). A correlation between the particles' wave functions remains, as long as they were once part of the same undisturbed wave function before one of the child particles was measured.

Where the record meets the 6 of Clubs

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Alain Aspect, and not a forecast of a Nobel Prize.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.

Also on the record

  1. He defended his doctorat d'État in 1983 at Université Paris-Sud (today part of Paris-Saclay University).
  2. Aspect received an honorary doctorate from Heriot-Watt University in 2008.
  3. Aspect's experiments, following the first experiment of Stuart Freedman and John Clauser in 1972, were considered to provide further support to the thesis that Bell's inequalities are violated in its CHSH version, in particular by closing a form of the locality loophole.
  4. However, his results were not completely conclusive since there were loopholes that allowed for alternative explanations that comply with local realism.

FAQ

What is Alain Aspect's birth card?
The 2 of Diamonds. June 15 maps to that card through the public Card Blueprints formula. The year of birth is not used.
Does a birth card predict a Nobel Prize?
No. These pages are coordinates, not fortune-telling. A birth card names a calendar day in a 52-card year. It does not forecast prizes, character, or fate.
Where do Alain Aspect's dates come from?
Birth date 1947-06-15 is the Nobel Prize API v2.1 day-precision date, verified against Wikidata P569 (CC0, day precision, Gregorian preferred). The two sources match. Year-only Nobel dates and Nobel↔Wikidata conflicts are dropped, not guessed. Page hooks and evidence come from the Wikipedia REST summary (CC BY-SA 4.0).
