Arno Penzias's Birth Card: The 8 of Clubs
The Ambitious Builder
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Nobel Prize.
In the record
Arno Allan Penzias (April 26, 1933 – January 22, 2024) was an American physicist and radio astronomer. The birth-card coordinate for April 26 is the 8 of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1978 Physics prize.

The 8 of Clubs coordinate
Arno Penzias's birthday maps to the 8 of Clubs (The Ambitious Builder). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Nobel Prize and not a verdict on Arno Penzias. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You run a knowledge system other people can follow, and you stand behind the call.
Arno Penzias in the public record
He shared the 1978 Nobel Prize in Physics with Robert Woodrow Wilson "for their discovery of cosmic microwave background radiation". Penzias was born in Munich, Germany, the son of Justine (née Eisenreich) and Karl Penzias, who ran a leather business. His grandparents had come to Munich from Poland and were among the leaders of the Reichenbachstrasse synagogue. At age six, he and his brother Gunther were among the Jewish children evacuated to Britain as part of the Kindertransport rescue operation. Later, his parents also fled Nazi Germany, first for the UK, and then for the US, and the family settled in the Bronx, New York City, New York, in 1940. In 1946, Penzias became a US citizen. After he graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1951, he enrolled at the City College of New York to study chemistry, but he changed majors to physics and graduated in 1954, ranked near the top of his class. Penzias thereafter served in the U.S.

Where the record meets the 8 of Clubs
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Arno Penzias, and not a forecast of a Nobel Prize.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.

FAQ
- What is Arno Penzias's birth card?
- The 8 of Clubs. April 26 maps to that card through the public Card Blueprints formula. The year of birth is not used.

- No. These pages are coordinates, not fortune-telling. A birth card names a calendar day in a 52-card year. It does not forecast prizes, character, or fate.
- Where do Arno Penzias's dates come from?
- Birth date 1933-04-26 is the Nobel Prize API v2.1 day-precision date, verified against Wikidata P569 (CC0, day precision, Gregorian preferred). The two sources match.
