Charles Richet's Birth Card: The King of Hearts
The Compassionate King
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Nobel Prize.
In the record
Charles Robert Richet (25 August 1850 – 4 December 1935) was a French physiologist at the Collège de France and immunology pioneer. The birth-card coordinate for August 26 is the King of Hearts — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1913 Physiology or Medicine prize.

1913 — The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
“in recognition of his work on anaphylaxis”
No one else in this set holds the 1913 Physiology or Medicine prize; Charles Richet appears here as its sole listed laureate. The award was divided; this laureate's listed portion is 1.
226 other Physiology or Medicine laureates in this set carry a birth-card coordinate.
The King of Hearts coordinate
Charles Richet's birthday maps to the King of Hearts (The Compassionate King). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Nobel Prize and not a verdict on Charles Richet. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You hold emotional authority without hiding behind it.
Charles Richet in the public record
In 1913, he won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine "in recognition of his work on anaphylaxis". Richet devoted many years to the study of paranormal and spiritualist phenomena, coining the term "ectoplasm". He believed in the inferiority of black people, was a proponent of eugenics, and presided over the French Eugenics Society towards the end of his life. The Richet line of professorships of medical science continued through his son Charles and his grandson Gabriel. Gabriel Richet was also one of the pioneers of European nephrology. He was born on 25 August 1850 in Paris the son of Alfred Richet. He was educated at the Lycee Bonaparte in Paris then studied medicine at university in Paris. Richet spent a period of time as an intern at the Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, where he observed Jean-Martin Charcot's work with then so called "hysterical" patients.

Where the record meets the 9 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Charles Richet, and not a forecast of a Nobel Prize.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
