Pierre Curie's Birth Card: The 4 of Diamonds
The Financial Foundation Builder
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Nobel Prize.
In the record
Pierre Curie (15 May 1859 – 19 April 1906) was a French physicist and chemist, and a pioneer in crystallography and magnetism. The birth-card coordinate for May 15 is the 4 of Diamonds — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1903 Physics prize.

The 4 of Diamonds coordinate
Pierre Curie's birthday maps to the 4 of Diamonds (The Financial Foundation Builder). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Nobel Prize and not a verdict on Pierre Curie. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You build a floor that lasts and still let money move when the work requires it.
Pierre Curie in the public record
He shared one half of the 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics with his wife, Marie Curie, for their work on radioactivity. With their win, the Curies became the first married couple to win a Nobel Prize, launching the Curie family legacy of five Nobel Prizes. Pierre Curie was born on 15 May 1859 in Paris, where his father was a general practitioner. After being homeschooled, Curie entered the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Paris, where he earned his licentiate in Physics in 1878. He stayed at the University working as a laboratory demonstrator until 1882, when he joined the faculty at ESPCI Paris. In 1895, Curie received his D.Sc. from the University of Paris, where he was subsequently appointed Professor of Physics. The submission material for his doctorate consisted of his research on magnetism. In 1900, he was promoted to Professor in the Faculty of Sciences, and became Titular Professor in 1904.

Where the record meets the 5 of Hearts
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Pierre Curie, and not a forecast of a Nobel Prize.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
Adaptability through emotional change and transition
With their win, the Curies became the first married couple to win a Nobel Prize, launching the Curie family legacy of five Nobel Prizes.

- In 1880, Pierre and his older brother, Jacques, demonstrated that an electric potential was generated when crystals were compressed, i.e. piezoelectricity.
- To aid this work, they invented the piezoelectric quartz electrometer.
- In 1881, they demonstrated the reverse effect; that crystals could be made to deform when subject to an electric field.
- Almost all digital electronic circuits now rely on this in the form of crystal oscillators.

FAQ
- What is Pierre Curie's birth card?
- The 4 of Diamonds. May 15 maps to that card through the public Card Blueprints formula. The year of birth is not used.
- Does a birth card predict a Nobel Prize?
- No. These pages are coordinates, not fortune-telling. A birth card names a calendar day in a 52-card year. It does not forecast prizes, character, or fate.
- Where do Pierre Curie's dates come from?
- Birth date 1859-05-15 is the Nobel Prize API v2.1 day-precision date, verified against Wikidata P569 (CC0, day precision, Gregorian preferred). The two sources match. Year-only Nobel dates and Nobel↔Wikidata conflicts are dropped, not guessed. Page hooks and evidence come from the Wikipedia REST summary (CC BY-SA 4.0).
