Salvador E. Luria's Birth Card: The King of Clubs
The Master Leader
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Nobel Prize.
In the record
Salvador Edward Luria ( LOOR-ee-ə; born Salvatore Luria, Italian: [salvaˈtoːre ˈluːrja]; August 13, 1912 – February 6, 1991) was an Italian microbiologist, later a naturalized U.S. citizen. The birth-card coordinate for August 13 is the King of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1969 Physiology or Medicine prize.

1969 — The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine

The King of Clubs coordinate
Salvador E. Luria's birthday maps to the King of Clubs (The Master Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Nobel Prize and not a verdict on Salvador E. Luria. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You make the intellectual call in the open and you can revise it.
Salvador E. Luria in the public record
He won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1969, with Max Delbrück and Alfred Hershey, for their discoveries on the replication mechanism and the genetic structure of viruses. Salvador Luria also showed that bacterial resistance to viruses (phages) is genetically inherited. Luria was born Salvatore Luria in Turin, Italy to an influential Italian Sephardi Jewish family. His parents were Davide and Ester (Sacerdote) Luria. He attended the medical school at the University of Turin studying with Giuseppe Levi. There, he met two other future Nobel laureates: Rita Levi-Montalcini and Renato Dulbecco. He obtained his M. D. summa cum laude in 1935.

Where the record meets the 8 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Salvador E. Luria, and not a forecast of a Nobel Prize.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life.
