Artimus Pyle's Birth Card: The King of Clubs
The Master Leader
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
In the record
Thomas Delmer "Artimus" Pyle (born July 15, 1948) is an American musician who played drums with the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1974 to 1977 and from 1987 to 1991. The King of Clubs coordinate
Artimus Pyle's birthday maps to the King of Clubs (The Master Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Artimus Pyle. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You make the intellectual call in the open and you can revise it.
Artimus Pyle in the public record
He and his bandmates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Pyle was born in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of homemaker Mildred "Midge" Pyle (née Williams; 1925–2008) and Clarence "Del" Pyle (1921–1971), a construction superintendent who was awarded a Purple Heart after being shot in the leg while serving with the United States Marine Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. Pyle himself enlisted in the Marines in 1968. He was named platoon and series honorman and promoted to private first class following completion of boot camp in San Diego. Eyeing a career in civil aviation, Pyle worked as an avionics mechanic at various military bases, including Millington, Tennessee, and Beaufort, South Carolina, ultimately rising to the rank of sergeant. He was honorably discharged in 1971. After playing with Thickwood Lick in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Pyle joined Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1975. He initially played alongside, and then replaced, original drummer Bob Burns.

Where the record meets the 8 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Artimus Pyle, and not a forecast of induction.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
You take the hard lead and you stay with the work after the call is made.
Gordon Show posted online in 2013, Pyle is asked why he went to Israel for three years, to which he replied, "I was trying to become a better human being." Pyle and several other bandmates also worked with a short-lived trio called Alias on their album Contraband.
