Elvin Bishop's Birth Card: The Ace of Clubs
The Creative Pioneer
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
In the record
Elvin Richard Bishop (born October 21, 1942) is an American blues and rock music singer, guitarist, bandleader, and songwriter. The birth-card coordinate for October 21 is the Ace of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 2015 Performers with The Paul Butterfield Blues Band induction.

The Ace of Clubs coordinate
Elvin Bishop's birthday maps to the Ace of Clubs (The Creative Pioneer). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Elvin Bishop. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You start a new idea while it is still usable, and you let it meet the world unfinished.
Elvin Bishop in the public record
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 2015, and in the Blues Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2016. Bishop was born in Glendale, California, the son of Mylda (nee Kleege) and Elvin Bishop Sr. He grew up on a farm near Elliott, Iowa. His family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, when he was 10. There, he attended Will Rogers High School, winning a full scholarship to the University of Chicago as a National Merit Scholar. He moved to Chicago in 1960 to attend the university, where he majored in physics. In 1963, Bishop met harmonica player Paul Butterfield in the neighborhood of Hyde Park, joined Butterfield's blues band, and remained with them for five years. Bishop was originally Butterfield's only guitarist, but was later joined by Mike Bloomfield, who largely assumed the lead guitar role for the band's first two albums.

Where the record meets the 2 of Hearts
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Elvin Bishop, and not a forecast of induction.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
