Nicko McBrain's Birth Card: The Queen of Diamonds
The Prosperous Nurturer
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.

The Queen of Diamonds coordinate
Nicko McBrain's birthday maps to the Queen of Diamonds (The Prosperous Nurturer). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Nicko McBrain. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You protect what you have without making every dollar a referendum on safety.
Nicko McBrain in the public record
He is the third-longest serving member of the band, having appeared on each Iron Maiden album since Piece of Mind (1983). McBrain retired from touring in 2024, although he remains a member of the band for studio projects. Having played in small pub bands since 1966 from the age of 14, after leaving school, McBrain did session work before joining a variety of artists, such as Streetwalkers in 1975, Pat Travers, and the French hard rock band Trust. By 2026, the band's albums with Nicko McBrain had sold well over 100 million copies. McBrain was born in Hackney, London, and first wanted to learn the drums at a young age after watching Joe Morello performing with The Dave Brubeck Quartet on television. Later Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, Keith Moon, John Bonham and Brian Bennett became his major influences on the instrument. At the age of ten, he started to play drums with pots, pans and other kitchen utensils, before, to his parents' dismay, he began drumming on the gas cooker with a pair of knives and chipped off the paintwork. McBrain recalls that he was eleven or twelve before his father bought him his first drum kit, "which was basically one snare, one tom-tom, one cymbal, two drumsticks and a pair of brushes." He soon started playing Rolling Stones and Beatles covers with school bands, before he began regularly playing "pubs and weddings" by the age of 14.

Where the record meets the 7 of Clubs
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Nicko McBrain, and not a forecast of induction.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
You take a claim apart until the usable piece is left, then you use it. Your mind is sharp, questioning, skeptical. You see through illusions and can identify patterns others miss. You're the critical thinker.
He is the third-longest serving member of the band, having appeared on each Iron Maiden album since Piece of Mind (1983).
Paired on shared wording: mind, piece. This line comes from the Saturn position of the Q♦'s Life Spread.

- This band split up after an argument between the singer and the guitarist, and McBrain began playing with Billy Day, a singer and keyboardist, and Michael "Mickey" Lesley, a guitarist, in 1971.
