Slash's Birth Card: The 5 of Clubs
The Dynamic Innovator
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
In the record
Saul Hudson (born 23 July 1965), known professionally as Slash, is a British and American musician, best known as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success beginning in the late 1980s. The 5 of Clubs coordinate
Slash's birthday maps to the 5 of Clubs (The Dynamic Innovator). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Slash. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You pressure-test an idea in public and let the better one win.
Slash in the public record
He has received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest guitarists in history. Born in Hampstead, London, and raised in Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent, Slash moved to Los Angeles with his father when he was six years old. His parents were both active in the entertainment industry, and he was given the nickname Slash as a child by actor Seymour Cassel. In 1983 he joined the glam metal band Hollywood Rose, then in 1985 he joined Guns N' Roses (which was composed of former members of Hollywood Rose and L.A. Guns), replacing founding member Tracii Guns. Slash formed the supergroup Slash's Snakepit in 1994, and in 1996, after growing tensions with Axl Rose, he left Guns N' Roses. In 2002, he co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver with vocalist Scott Weiland, which re-established Slash as a mainstream performer in the mid- to late 2000s. Slash has released six solo albums: Slash (2010) and Orgy of the Damned (2024), featuring a variety of guest singers; Apocalyptic Love (2012); World on Fire (2014), Living the Dream (2018) and 4 (2022) with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.

Where the record meets the 5 of Hearts
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Slash, and not a forecast of induction.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.

FAQ
- What is Slash's birth card?
- The 5 of Clubs. July 23 maps to that card through the public Card Blueprints formula. The year of birth is not used.
- Does a birth card predict a Rock Hall induction?
- No. These pages are coordinates, not fortune-telling. A birth card names a calendar day in a 52-card year. It does not forecast awards, character, or fate.
- Where do Slash's dates come from?
- Birth date 1965-07-23 is the day-precision date on Slash's Wikipedia infobox, verified against Wikidata P569 (CC0, day precision, Gregorian preferred). The two sources match. Inductee identity comes from the Wikipedia Performers list, which cites RockHall.com. Year-only dates and Wikipedia↔Wikidata conflicts are dropped, not guessed. Page hooks and evidence come from the Wikipedia REST summary (CC BY-SA 4.0).
