Nigel Hawthorne's Birth Card: The 3 of Spades
The Sorrowful Truth
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Tony Award.
In the record
Sir Nigel Barnard Hawthorne (5 April 1929 – 26 December 2001) was an English actor. The birth-card coordinate for April 5 is the 3 of Spades — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1991 Best Actor in a Play (Shadowlands) win.

The 3 of Spades coordinate
Nigel Hawthorne's birthday maps to the 3 of Spades (The Sorrowful Truth). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Tony Award and not a verdict on Nigel Hawthorne. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You stay with the hard feeling long enough to learn it, then you let the day continue.
Nigel Hawthorne in the public record
He is known for his stage acting and his portrayal of Sir Humphrey Appleby, the permanent secretary in the 1980s sitcom Yes Minister and the Cabinet Secretary in its sequel, Yes, Prime Minister. For this role, he won four British Academy Television Awards for Best Entertainment Performance. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Lead Actor and was nominated for the Academy Award in the same category for portraying King George III in The Madness of King George (1994), having previously won the Laurence Olivier Award for the stage version. He later won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actor, for the 1996 series The Fragile Heart. He won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play winner for his performance in 1991 Broadway production of Shadowlands. Hawthorne was born on 5 April 1929 in Coventry, Warwickshire (now West Midlands), the second of four children of Agnes Rosemary (née Rice) and Charles Barnard Hawthorne, a physician. When Hawthorne was three years old, the family moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where his father had bought a practice. Initially they lived in Gardens and then moved to a newly built house near Camps Bay.

Where the record meets the 9 of Hearts
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Nigel Hawthorne, and not a forecast of a Tony.
