The Dynamic Entrepreneur

A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a spaceflight.

In the record

Jeffrey Alan Hoffman (born November 2, 1944) is an American former NASA astronaut and currently a professor of aeronautics and astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The birth-card coordinate for November 2 is the 5 of Diamonds — a calendar position, not a forecast of a flight assignment.

The 5 of Diamonds coordinate

Jeffrey A. Hoffman's birthday maps to the 5 of Diamonds (The Dynamic Entrepreneur). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a mission and not a verdict on Jeffrey A. Hoffman. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You adjust the resource plan when the ground moves, without pretending nothing changed.

Jeffrey A. Hoffman in the public record

Hoffman made five flights as a Space Shuttle astronaut, including the first mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope in 1993, when the orbiting telescope's flawed optical system was corrected. Trained as an astrophysicist, he also flew on the 1990 Spacelab Shuttle mission that featured the Astro-1 ultraviolet astronomical observatory in the Shuttle's payload bay. Over the course of his five missions he logged more than 1,211 hours and 21.5 million miles in space. He was also NASA's second Jewish astronaut, and the second Jewish man in space after Soviet cosmonaut Boris Volynov. Hoffman was born November 2, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, but considers Scarsdale, New York, to be his hometown. He graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1962. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree (summa cum laude) in astronomy from Amherst College in 1966, a Doctor of Philosophy in astrophysics from Harvard University in 1971, and a Master of Science degree in materials science from Rice University in 1988. Hoffman is an Eagle Scout.

Where the record meets the 3 of Clubs

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Jeffrey A. Hoffman, and not a forecast of a spaceflight.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
