Jerome Apt III's Birth Card: The 6 of Clubs
The Nurturing Creator
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a spaceflight.
In the record
Jerome "Jay" Apt III (born April 28, 1949) is a retired NASA astronaut and professor at Carnegie Mellon University. The birth-card coordinate for April 28 is the 6 of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of a flight assignment.
The 6 of Clubs coordinate
Jerome Apt III's birthday maps to the 6 of Clubs (The Nurturing Creator). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a mission and not a verdict on Jerome Apt III. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You pass on what you know without disappearing behind the lesson.
Jerome Apt III in the public record
During his time at NASA, Apt was a flight controller in the Mission Control Center and completed four space flights logging over 35 days in space. Before becoming an astronaut, Apt was a physicist who worked on the Pioneer Venus 1978 space probe project, and used visible light and infrared techniques to study the planets and moons of the Solar System from ground-based observatories. Apt is an instrument-rated commercial pilot, and has logged over 7,000 hours flying time in approximately 25 different types of airplanes, seaplanes, sailplanes, and human-powered aircraft. Apt was a resident of Shadyside and graduated from Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1967. He went on to attend Harvard University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in physics magna cum laude in 1971. He then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in experimental atomic physics in 1976. From 1976 to 1980 he was a staff member of the Center for Earth & Planetary Physics at Harvard, and served as the Assistant Director of Harvard's Division of Applied Sciences from 1978 to 1980 and was the founding director of Harvard's Planetary Imaging Computer Center. In 1980 he joined the Earth and Space Sciences Division of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as a scientist doing planetary research; he was science manager of the optical facilities at JPL's Table Mountain Observatory.

Where the record meets the 6 of Clubs
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Jerome Apt III, and not a forecast of a spaceflight.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
