John M. Fabian's Birth Card: The Queen of Clubs
The Nurturing Leader
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a spaceflight.
In the record
John McCreary Fabian (January 28, 1939 – May 21, 2026) was an American NASA astronaut and Air Force officer who flew two Space Shuttle missions and worked on the development of the Shuttle's robotic arm. The birth-card coordinate for January 28 is the Queen of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of a flight assignment.
The Queen of Clubs coordinate
John M. Fabian's birthday maps to the Queen of Clubs (The Nurturing Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a mission and not a verdict on John M. Fabian. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You teach from what you actually know, without making people earn the right to hear it.
John M. Fabian in the public record
He later led the Air Force's space operations. Fabian was born on January 28, 1939, in Goose Creek, Texas, but considered Pullman, Washington, to be his hometown. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America where he achieved its second-highest rank, Life Scout. His recreational interests included politics and environmental advocacy. In 1998 he retired to Port Ludlow, Washington, bordered by Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains on northwest Washington's Olympic Peninsula. In 2002 he helped form the Hood Canal Coalition, an environmental watchdog group opposing a new industrial harbor complex and a gravel mine's shipping operation slated to transverse the Hood Canal Bridge. From 2000 to 2011, he participated in the "Lunch with an Astronaut" and "Astronaut Encounter" events at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. He resumed his involvement in 2022, and had been a regular feature in the restructured "Chat with an Astronaut" program, as well as "Astronaut Encounter".

Where the record meets the King of Diamonds
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about John M. Fabian, and not a forecast of a spaceflight.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
