Manley Lanier Carter Jr.'s Birth Card: The Jack of Clubs
The Creative Messenger
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a spaceflight.
In the record
Manley Lanier "Sonny" Carter Jr., M.D. (August 15, 1947 – April 5, 1991), (Capt, USN), was an American physician, professional soccer player, naval officer, aviator, and NASA astronaut who flew on STS-33. The birth-card coordinate for August 15 is the Jack of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of a flight assignment.
The Jack of Clubs coordinate
Manley Lanier Carter Jr.'s birthday maps to the Jack of Clubs (The Creative Messenger). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a mission and not a verdict on Manley Lanier Carter Jr.. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You bring a new angle and you let someone pressure-test it before it ships.

Where the record meets the 7 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Manley Lanier Carter Jr., and not a forecast of a spaceflight.
