Walter Cunningham's Birth Card: The 7 of Diamonds
The Skeptical Investor
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a spaceflight.
In the record
Ronnie Walter Cunningham (March 16, 1932 – January 3, 2023) was an American astronaut, fighter pilot, physicist, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and author of the 1977 book The All-American Boys. The birth-card coordinate for March 16 is the 7 of Diamonds — a calendar position, not a forecast of a flight assignment.
The 7 of Diamonds coordinate
Walter Cunningham's birthday maps to the 7 of Diamonds (The Skeptical Investor). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a mission and not a verdict on Walter Cunningham. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You look at worth without reducing it to the account balance.
Walter Cunningham in the public record
NASA's third civilian astronaut (after Neil Armstrong and Elliot See), he was a Lunar Module pilot on the Apollo 7 mission in 1968. Cunningham was born in Creston, Iowa, on March 16, 1932. According to Cunningham, he intended to serve as a lieutenant commander in the Naval Air Corps, apparently inspired by a movie around 1940, named by Cunningham as Hell Divers. He graduated from Venice High School in Los Angeles, California, in 1950. The science building is named Cunningham Hall in his honor. Thereafter, Cunningham continued his education at nearby Santa Monica College, intending to become an architect, until joining the U.S. Navy in 1951. Cunningham enlisted in the Navy to serve in the Korean War and return at an earlier time than those who were drafted.

Where the record meets the 7 of Diamonds
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Walter Cunningham, and not a forecast of a spaceflight.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
