Daniel J. Travanti's Birth Card: The 3 of Spades
The Sorrowful Truth
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict an Emmy.
In the record
Daniel J. The birth-card coordinate for March 7 is the 3 of Spades — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1981 Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Hill Street Blues); 1982 Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Hill Street Blues) win.
Primetime Emmy Lead record
- 1981 Lead Actor in a Drama Series — Hill Street Blues as Frank Furillo
- 1982 Lead Actor in a Drama Series — Hill Street Blues as Frank Furillo
The 3 of Spades coordinate
Daniel J. Travanti's birthday maps to the 3 of Spades (The Sorrowful Truth). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about an Emmy and not a verdict on Daniel J. Travanti. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You stay with the hard feeling long enough to learn it, then you let the day continue.
Daniel J. Travanti in the public record
Travanti (born Danielo Giovanni Travanti; March 7, 1940) is an American actor. He is best known for playing police captain Frank Furillo in the television drama series Hill Street Blues (1981–1987) for which he received a Golden Globe Award from five nominations, and two consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards from five nominations. Travanti, one of five children, was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Italian immigrant parents John and Elvira Travanti. His father worked at the American Motors assembly plant in that city. Daniel attended Mary D. Bradford High School, where he was an all-star football player; he received athletic scholarship offers to several colleges, but he decided he wanted to be an actor rather than an athlete. A good student, he was offered scholarships to Harvard University, Princeton University, and the Alfred P. Sloan Scholarship to Dartmouth College, but he took the General Motors Scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison, from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1961.

Where the record meets the 3 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Daniel J. Travanti, and not a forecast of an Emmy.
