Valerie Harper's Birth Card: The 4 of Clubs
The Systematic Builder
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict an Emmy.
In the record
Valerie Kathryn Harper (August 22, 1939 – August 30, 2019) was an American actress. The birth-card coordinate for August 22 is the 4 of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1975 Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Rhoda) win.
Primetime Emmy Lead record
- 1975 Lead Actress in a Comedy Series — Rhoda as Rhoda Morgenstern
The 4 of Clubs coordinate
Valerie Harper's birthday maps to the 4 of Clubs (The Systematic Builder). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about an Emmy and not a verdict on Valerie Harper. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You put knowledge into an order other people can actually use.
Valerie Harper in the public record
She began her career as a dancer on Broadway, making her debut as a replacement in the musical Li'l Abner. She played Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970–1977) and its spin-off Rhoda (1974–1978). For her work on Mary Tyler Moore, she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series three times, and later received the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Rhoda. Her film appearances include supporting roles in Freebie and the Bean (1974) and Chapter Two (1979), both of which garnered her Golden Globe Award nominations. From 1986 to 1987, Harper appeared as Valerie Hogan on the sitcom Valerie, from which she was fired after two seasons. Her character was killed off, and the show was retitled Valerie's Family and eventually The Hogan Family. Actress Sandy Duncan was cast in a new role that served as a replacement for Harper's character. Harper returned to stage work in her later career, appearing in several Broadway productions.

Where the record meets the 8 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Valerie Harper, and not a forecast of an Emmy.
