Régine Chassagne's Birth Card: The 7 of Clubs
The Analytical Creator
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Grammy Album of the Year.

The 7 of Clubs coordinate
Régine Chassagne was born August 19, 1976 (1976-08-19). Month 8 and day 19 give solar value 20, which is the 7 of Clubs (The Analytical Creator). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day). The year 1976 is unused, so Régine Chassagne's 1976 birth year does not move the card. The 7 of Clubs does not predict a Grammy Album of the Year and is not a verdict on Régine Chassagne. Quoted system copy for the 7 of Clubs, not a biography of Régine Chassagne: You take a claim apart until the usable piece is left, then you use it. Your mind is sharp, questioning, skeptical. You see through illusions and can identify patterns others miss. You're the critical thinker.

Régine Chassagne in the public record
Régine Alexandra Chassagne was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and grew up in St-Lambert, a suburb south of Montreal. Her parents, who were Haitians of mixed French and African descent, moved from Haiti during the dictatorship of François Duvalier, which is alluded to in the Arcade Fire song "Haïti", in which she sings, Mes cousins jamais nés hantent les nuits de Duvalier ("My unborn cousins haunt Duvalier's nights"). The line is in reference to the relatives who were killed during the Jérémie Vespers massacre. Chassagne attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf before earning a B.A. in communication studies at Concordia University in 1998, and went on to study jazz voice briefly at McGill University. She was singing jazz at an art opening at Concordia in 2000, when Win Butler met her and persuaded her to join his band. Chassagne has also been involved with a medieval-themed band called Les Jongleurs de la Mandragore and with Jimmy Rouleau in the jazz duo Azúcar. She also wrote the music for the two-minute David Uloth short film "The Shine", and she contributed to the UNICEF benefit project as part of the North American Hallowe'en Prevention Initiative, performing the song "Do They Know It's Hallowe'en?" along with Win Butler. She plays many instruments on stage, including accordion, drums, xylophone, hurdy-gurdy, keyboards, organ and guitar.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
