Edward B. Lewis's Birth Card: The Queen of Clubs
The Nurturing Leader
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Nobel Prize.
In the record
Edward Butts Lewis (May 20, 1918 – July 21, 2004) was an American geneticist, a corecipient of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. The birth-card coordinate for May 20 is the Queen of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 1995 Physiology or Medicine prize.

226 other Physiology or Medicine laureates in this set carry a birth-card coordinate.
The Queen of Clubs coordinate
Edward B. Lewis's birthday maps to the Queen of Clubs (The Nurturing Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Nobel Prize and not a verdict on Edward B. Lewis. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You teach from what you actually know, without making people earn the right to hear it.
Edward B. Lewis in the public record
He helped to found the field of evolutionary developmental biology. Lewis was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, the second son of Laura Mary Lewis (née Histed) and Edward Butts Lewis, a watchmaker-jeweler. His full name was supposed to be Edward Butts Lewis Jr., but his birth certificate was incorrectly filled out with "B." as his middle name. Lewis graduated from E. L. Meyers High School. He received a BA in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota in 1939, where he worked on Drosophila melanogaster in the lab of C.P. Oliver.

Where the record meets the 3 of Hearts
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Edward B. Lewis, and not a forecast of a Nobel Prize.

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
You let love have range without using newness as an exit from the one that is already here. You feel in color and express it—your inner life is rich, varied, and creative. You explore connection the way an artist explores a medium, drawn to emotional range and new expression. Love, for you, is a creative act.
She was an accomplished artist, but also shared Lewis' interests in animal life.
