Troy Dalbey's Birth Card: The 5 of Clubs
The Dynamic Innovator
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict an Olympic medal.
In the record
Troy Lane Dalbey (born September 19, 1968) is an American former competition swimmer, two-time Olympic champion, and former world record-holder. The birth-card coordinate for September 19 is the 5 of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of Troy Dalbey's 3 Summer Olympic gold medals in competitive swimming.
Summer Olympic gold record
Wikidata records 3 Summer Olympic gold medals in competitive swimming for United States across 1988. Only Summer Games gold medals count here. Winter-only careers and single-gold athletes are out of this pack. The medal list is a public award record for Troy Dalbey (Q1342607), not a reading of character. 1988 1988 Summer Olympics: gold in 1988 Summer Olympics in Q38108. 1988: gold in swimming at the 1988 Summer Olympics – men's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay in competitive swimming. 1988: gold in swimming at the 1988 Summer Olympics – men's 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay in competitive swimming.

The 5 of Clubs coordinate
Troy Dalbey was born September 19 (1968-09-19). Month 9 and day 19 give solar value 18, which is the 5 of Clubs (The Dynamic Innovator). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day). The year 1968 is unused. The 5 of Clubs does not predict Olympic results and is not a verdict on Troy Dalbey for United States. Quoted system copy for the 5 of Clubs, not a biography of Troy Dalbey: You pressure-test a stale idea in public and let the better one win. Your mind craves novelty, variety, and freedom. You get bored easily and need constant stimulation. You're the one who disrupts stale thinking.
Troy Dalbey in the public record
Dalbey attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he swam for coach Randy Reese's Florida Gators swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 1986 to 1987. In 1987, he was named an All-American in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events, the 400-yard medley relay, and the 400 and 800-yard freestyle relays, and was a member of the Gators' 800-yard freestyle relay team that won the NCAA title that year. Dalbey won two gold medals at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He won his first gold medal as a member of the winning U.S. team in the men's 4×100 meter freestyle relay, together with teammates Chris Jacobs, Tom Jager and Matt Biondi. He won a second gold medal with fellow Americans Matt Cetlinski, Doug Gjertsen and Matt Biondi in the men's 4×200 meter freestyle relay. Dalbey and his American relay teammates set new world records in the event finals of both the 4×100-meter (3:16.53) and the 4×200-meter (7:12.51) events. While celebrating his victories with Doug Gjertsen in a Korean bar, they removed a marble lion's head wall decoration and were arrested by the Korean police. Dalbey and Gjertsen resigned from the U.S.

Where the record meets the 5 of Clubs
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Troy Dalbey, and not a forecast of a gold medal.
