Wang Nan's Birth Card: The Queen of Hearts
The Devoted Nurturer
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict an Olympic medal.
In the record
Wang Nan (Chinese: 王楠; pinyin: Wáng Nán; born October 23, 1978, in Fushun, Liaoning) is a female Chinese table tennis player from Liaoning. The birth-card coordinate for October 23 is the Queen of Hearts — a calendar position, not a forecast of Wang Nan's 2 Summer Olympic gold medals in table tennis.
Summer Olympic gold record
Wikidata records 2 Summer Olympic gold medals in table tennis for People's Republic of China across 2000 and 2008. Only Summer Games gold medals count here. Winter-only careers and single-gold athletes are out of this pack. The medal list is a public award record for Wang Nan (Q230693), not a reading of character. 2000: gold in table tennis at the 2000 Summer Olympics – women's singles in table tennis. 2008: gold in table tennis at the 2008 Summer Olympics – women's team in table tennis.
- 2000 table tennis at the 2000 Summer Olympics – women's singles (table tennis)
- 2008 table tennis at the 2008 Summer Olympics – women's team (table tennis)
The Queen of Hearts coordinate
Wang Nan was born October 23 (1978-10-23). Month 10 and day 23 give solar value 12, which is the Queen of Hearts (The Devoted Nurturer). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day). The year 1978 is unused. The Queen of Hearts does not predict Olympic results and is not a verdict on Wang Nan for People's Republic of China. Quoted system copy for the Queen of Hearts, not a biography of Wang Nan: You take care of people from presence, not from scanning for what they might need next. You're wired to care with depth and intuition—you read what people feel before they say it and you tend to it. You embody emotional wisdom, offering others a felt sense of being truly seen and held. Nurturing is your mastery.

Where the record meets the 8 of Diamonds
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Wang Nan, and not a forecast of a gold medal.
