Zhang Ning's Birth Card: The King of Clubs
The Master Leader
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict an Olympic medal.
In the record
Zhang Ning (simplified Chinese: 张宁; traditional Chinese: 張寧; pinyin: Zhāng Níng; born 19 May 1975) is a Chinese badminton player. The birth-card coordinate for May 19 is the King of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of Zhang Ning's 2 Summer Olympic gold medals in badminton.
Summer Olympic gold record
Wikidata records 2 Summer Olympic gold medals in badminton for People's Republic of China across 2004. Only Summer Games gold medals count here. Winter-only careers and single-gold athletes are out of this pack. The medal list is a public award record for Zhang Ning (Q197267), not a reading of character. 2004: gold in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics – women's singles in badminton. Gold in badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics – women's singles in badminton.

- badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics – women's singles (badminton)
The King of Clubs coordinate
Zhang Ning was born May 19 (1975-05-19). Month 5 and day 19 give solar value 26, which is the King of Clubs (The Master Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day). The year 1975 is unused. The King of Clubs does not predict Olympic results and is not a verdict on Zhang Ning for People's Republic of China. Quoted system copy for the King of Clubs, not a biography of Zhang Ning: You make the intellectual call in the open and you can revise it. You command through clarity and competence. You're the authority, the decision-maker, the one people look to for direction. Your thinking is decisive and clear.
Zhang Ning in the public record
She won the Olympic gold medal twice for women's singles in both 2004 and 2008. She has played badminton on the world scene since the mid-1990s and has been particularly successful since 2002 while in her late twenties and early thirties, relatively late for singles at the highest level, and especially for top players in the Chinese system who are developed very early. She is known for her consistency of shot, deception and constant pressure, dictating the pace of rallies and working her opponents in all four corners of the court. She is the only female player to win consecutive Olympic singles gold medals. She also became World champion in 2003 and has a total of five medals of all colours in the competition. Zhang first represented China in the Uber Cup (women's world team championship) competition in 1994 and last represented it in 2006. Though she was not always chosen to play in each of the biennial editions of this tournament, the span of her Uber Cup service is the longest of any Chinese player.

Where the record meets the 8 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Zhang Ning, and not a forecast of a gold medal.
