Phil Rudd's Birth Card: The King of Clubs

2003 Performers with AC/DC

Born May 19, 1954

The Master Leader

A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.

In the record

Phillip Hugh Norman Rudd (born Phillip Hugh Norman Witschke Rudzevecuis, 19 May 1954) is an Australian musician, best known as the drummer of AC/DC across three stints (1975–1983, 1994–2015, 2018–present). The birth-card coordinate for May 19 is the King of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of the 2003 Performers with AC/DC induction.

The King of Clubs coordinate

Phil Rudd's birthday maps to the King of Clubs (The Master Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Phil Rudd. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You make the intellectual call in the open and you can revise it.

Phil Rudd in the public record

On the 1977 departure of bass guitarist Mark Evans from AC/DC, Rudd became the only Australian-born member of the band. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other members of AC/DC. In 2014, Rudd released his first solo album, Head Job. Due to ongoing legal problems in New Zealand, where he is a resident, Rudd was unable to join the band for the 2015 Rock or Bust World Tour and was replaced by Chris Slade. On 30 September 2020, AC/DC confirmed that Rudd would be rejoining the band for their comeback album Power Up. In 1974 Rudd was told about AC/DC's rhythm section auditions by his former Coloured Balls bandmate Trevor Young (no relation to AC/DC's Young brothers). Rudd asked Buster Brown bassist Geordie Leach to accompany him to the auditions, but Leach refused due to other commitments. Rudd auditioned and was hired immediately.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
