The Master Leader

A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.

In the record

Rock Hall record

The King of Clubs coordinate

Rick Wills's birthday maps to the King of Clubs (The Master Leader). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Rick Wills. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You make the intellectual call in the open and you can revise it.

Rick Wills in the public record

He is best known for his work with the rock band Foreigner and his associations with the Small Faces, Roxy Music, Peter Frampton, Spooky Tooth, David Gilmour, Bad Company and The Jones Gang. Rick Wills played in the early days of rock music in Cambridge, from c. 1961 in the Vikings, then in a succession of local bands: the Sundowners, Soul Committee, Bullitt (with David Gilmour on guitar and John 'Willie' Wilson on drums) and Cochise before joining Frampton's Camel. Wills joined the rock band Jokers Wild in mid-1966, (with David Gilmour on guitars and vocals), until they broke up in 1967. He played bass on Peter Frampton's first three albums before parting from Frampton in 1975. He became the bassist with Roxy Music in 1976, before leaving them and joining the Small Faces in 1977, during their reunion period. He left the Small Faces and appeared on David Gilmour's eponymous album in 1978, with Willie Wilson on drums. The next year, Wills became a member of rock band Foreigner and remained with them for 14 years.

Where the record meets the 4 of Hearts

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Rick Wills, and not a forecast of induction.

Life Spread (Mercury → Result / Cosmic Reward)

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.

You build a home people can count on, and you leave enough air for feeling to move. You build security in love through consistency, reliability, and trust. You're the steady one—the person others can count on to show up the same way tomorrow. You create the stable home base a relationship needs.

4♥ — Life Spread — Venus, fixed to the K♣, from the published 4 of Hearts meaning

Wills was reunited with Small Faces drummer Kenney Jones in The Jones Gang during 2006, and appeared with the RD Crusaders for the Teenage Cancer Trust at The London International Music Show on 15 June 2008.

Paired on shared wording: show, trust. This line comes from the Venus position of the K♣'s Life Spread.
