Roger Taylor's Birth Card: The 8 of Clubs
The Ambitious Builder
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.

The 8 of Clubs coordinate
Roger Taylor's birthday maps to the 8 of Clubs (The Ambitious Builder). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vote and not a verdict on Roger Taylor. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You run a knowledge system other people can follow, and you stand behind the call.
Roger Taylor in the public record
He was the drummer of the new wave band Duran Duran from their inception until 1985, and again from 2001 onwards. Duran Duran have sold over 100 million records worldwide. Taylor was inducted into the American Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November 2022 as a member of Duran Duran. Roger Andrew Taylor was born and brought up in the Shard End area of Birmingham until the age of 11, and then a small suburban house in Castle Bromwich (15 Hawthorne Road). His father worked in the car industry. He began drumming at around the age of 12, teaching himself by playing along with his favourite records. His first ambition was to be a goalkeeper for English football club Aston Villa, and as a child he was taken to every home match by his father. He would eventually "play" at Villa Park but as Duran Duran's drummer for their 1983 charity concert there.

Where the record meets the 10 of Hearts
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Roger Taylor, and not a forecast of induction.

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread
Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.
You make room for a lot of people and still keep a self inside the room. Your heart works at scale—you create belonging for families, groups, and communities, not just individuals. You're the one who makes everyone feel included, the emotional center of gravity in a room. Love, for you, is something you build collectively.
Taylor also contributed percussion to the other Duran Duran splinter group the Power Station's song "Some Like It Hot" from their self-titled album.
Paired on shared wording: group, self. This line comes from the Mars position of the 8♣'s Life Spread.
