Born July 25, 1957

The Creative Communicator

A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict a spaceflight.

In the record

Daniel Wheeler Bursch (born July 25, 1957) is a former NASA astronaut, and Captain of the United States Navy. The birth-card coordinate for July 25 is the 3 of Clubs — a calendar position, not a forecast of a flight assignment.

The 3 of Clubs coordinate

Daniel W. Bursch's birthday maps to the 3 of Clubs (The Creative Communicator). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day), and the year is unused. It is not a prediction about a mission and not a verdict on Daniel W. Bursch. The card's own language, quoted as system copy rather than biography: You move an idea across more than one channel without abandoning the one that needs depth.

Daniel W. Bursch in the public record

He had four spaceflights, the first three of which were Space Shuttle missions lasting 10 to 11 days each. His fourth and final spaceflight was a long-duration stay aboard the International Space Station as a crew member of Expedition 4, which lasted from December 2001 to June 2002. This 196-day mission set a new record for the longest duration spaceflight for an American astronaut, a record simultaneously set with his crew mate Carl Walz. Their record has since been broken, and as of 2016 it is held by Scott Kelly, who flew a 340-day mission during Expeditions 43, 44 and 45. Bursch graduated from Vestal Senior High School, Vestal, New York, in 1975; received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the United States Naval Academy in 1979, and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Science from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in 1991. Bursch graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1979, and was designated a Naval Flight Officer in April 1980 at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida.

Where the record meets the 3 of Spades

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Daniel W. Bursch, and not a forecast of a spaceflight.

Life Spread (Mercury → Result / Cosmic Reward)

Planetary ruling card, karma and Life Spread

Birth card from the month and day. Karma cards are fixed to the birth card. The planetary ruling card comes from the sun sign's ruling planet — the signs with two rulers carry two. The Life Spread is the birth card's fixed row of nine in the Life Spread — the cards that colour each 52-day period for life. Planetary period and long-range cards move year by year and are not shown on a static page.

You stay with the hard feeling long enough to learn it, then you let the day continue.
