What Is the Life Spread in Cardology?
Every birth card sits inside a larger map. The Life Spread is that map.

The Life Spread is a fixed arrangement of all 52 cards used in Cardology. Each birth card occupies one position in it, and the cards that fall in related positions become that card's Life Path cards: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and beyond. It is the structure behind compatibility roles and karma-card relationships.
One spread, every card
Unlike a tarot spread, the Life Spread is not laid out fresh for each question. It is a single fixed grid holding all 52 cards, and it never changes.
Your birth card has a permanent address in that grid. The cards around and connected to that address form your Life Path: a Moon support card plus a sequence running Birth, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the crown positions.
Why the positions matter
The positions are where Cardology gets its relational depth. When another person's birth card lands in your Venus position, the relationship tends to carry a Venus tone. When it lands in Saturn, it tends to feel like a teacher.
The same structure feeds the karma-card layer: environment and displacement describe how a card sits relative to its natural position.
What a beginner actually needs
You do not need to memorize the grid. You need to know that it exists, that it is fixed, and that the roles it assigns are what make two-person readings specific instead of generic.
