In the record

Guo Yue (simplified Chinese: 郭跃; traditional Chinese: 郭躍; pinyin: Guō Yuè; born July 17, 1988, in Anshan, Liaoning) is a Chinese table tennis player and the 2007 women's world champion. Summer Olympic gold record

Wikidata records 2 Summer Olympic gold medals in table tennis for People's Republic of China across 2008 and 2012. Only Summer Games gold medals count here. Winter-only careers and single-gold athletes are out of this pack. The medal list is a public award record for Guo Yue (Q240084), not a reading of character. 2008: gold in table tennis at the 2008 Summer Olympics – women's team in table tennis. 2012: gold in table tennis at the 2012 Summer Olympics – women's team in table tennis.

The Jack of Clubs coordinate

Guo Yue was born July 17 (1988-07-17). Month 7 and day 17 give solar value 24, which is the Jack of Clubs (The Creative Messenger). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day). The year 1988 is unused. The Jack of Clubs does not predict Olympic results and is not a verdict on Guo Yue for People's Republic of China. Quoted system copy for the Jack of Clubs, not a biography of Guo Yue: You bring a new angle and stay long enough for someone to test it. You bring new thinking and inspiration. You're the one who shifts how people think about things. You have the gift of the "aha moment."

Guo Yue in the public record

Controversy ensued in China when Guo Yue was kicked out of the National Table Tennis Team in 2015 for "poor behaviour" and lack of interest. As of 2015, she had left the table tennis field and was studying finance at Tsinghua University. She was a left-handed shakehand attack player and came from Liaoning, China, the province where Wang Nan, Chang Chenchen and Li Jia (all left-handed players) came from. She was the potential leading player in Chinese woman team. Her original partner in women's doubles was Niu Jianfeng, who came from Hebei. Her new partner was Li Xiaoxia, who was also her roommate. Guo experienced series of losses in international games which led to her disappearance from the public eye for almost half a year. It is officially claimed "To help her mentally adjust".

Where the record meets the Jack of Diamonds

A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Guo Yue, and not a forecast of a gold medal.
