Pieter van den Hoogenband's Birth Card: The 9 of Diamonds
The Universal Provider
A birth card is a calendar coordinate for the month and day. It is not fortune-telling and does not predict an Olympic medal.
In the record
Pieter Cornelis Martijn van den Hoogenband (born 14 March 1978) is a Dutch retired swimmer. The birth-card coordinate for March 14 is the 9 of Diamonds — a calendar position, not a forecast of Pieter van den Hoogenband's 3 Summer Olympic gold medals in competitive swimming.
Summer Olympic gold record
Wikidata records 3 Summer Olympic gold medals in competitive swimming for Kingdom of the Netherlands across 2000 and 2004. Only Summer Games gold medals count here. Winter-only careers and single-gold athletes are out of this pack. The medal list is a public award record for Pieter van den Hoogenband (Q298723), not a reading of character. 2000: gold in swimming at the 2000 Summer Olympics – men's 100 metre freestyle in competitive swimming. 2000: gold in swimming at the 2000 Summer Olympics – men's 200 metre freestyle in competitive swimming. 2004: gold in swimming at the 2004 Summer Olympics – men's 100 metre freestyle in competitive swimming.

The 9 of Diamonds coordinate
Pieter van den Hoogenband was born March 14 (1978-03-14). Month 3 and day 14 give solar value 35, which is the 9 of Diamonds (The Universal Provider). Card Blueprints treats that as a 365-day coordinate: solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day). The year 1978 is unused. The 9 of Diamonds does not predict Olympic results and is not a verdict on Pieter van den Hoogenband for Kingdom of the Netherlands. Quoted system copy for the 9 of Diamonds, not a biography of Pieter van den Hoogenband: You give in a way you can sustain, and you let someone give back. You think about resources in terms of universal good and human need. You want to provide for humanity. Your vision is about abundance for all.
Pieter van den Hoogenband in the public record
He is a triple Olympic champion and former world record holder. Born in Maastricht, Limburg, he is the first child of Cees-Rein van den Hoogenband and Astrid Verver, a former Dutch 800 m freestyle silver medalist at the European Junior Championships. He has a younger sister named Veronique and a younger brother named Robert. He grew up in Geldrop, where he swam for PSV. His father, a former judoka, was a team doctor with the professional football team of the same club. Russian swimmer and four-time Olympic gold medalist Alexander Popov was his role model. In 1993, Van den Hoogenband achieved his first success, performing well on the European Youth Olympic Days. Before the Atlanta Games, Astrid van den Hoogenband, who was coaching the Dutch team, became frustrated with the swimmers representing the Netherlands, feeling they had much potential but would not be able to live up to it due to lack of adequate support.

Where the record meets the 2 of Spades
A card is a calendar coordinate, not a cause. What follows sets one line of the card's own published language beside one sentence of the sourced record, paired by a documented rule. It is a resemblance offered for the reader to weigh — not a claim about Pieter van den Hoogenband, and not a forecast of a gold medal.
