How 52-Day Periods Divide Your Year

Seven times 52 is 364. One day short of a standard year. The count starts on your birthday, not January 1, so your period calendar belongs to you and nobody else.

The numbers that build the deck build the year too. 52 cards, 52 weeks, 52 days per period. That symmetry is the only reason a deck can work as a timing system at all.

Same order every time. Mercury first, then Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The planet names are theme labels. Nobody is checking the sky.

Mercury opens the year: communication, a mental reset, too many tabs. Neptune closes it: the long view and the loose ends. The middle periods carry relationships, drive, growth and structure, in that order.

Each period gets a card from your yearly spread. The card names the content. The planet names the arena. A Five of Diamonds in a Venus period reads differently from the same card in a Saturn period. Context does a lot of work.
