How Age Changes Your Yearly Spread

Every birthday moves you one spread forward. That is why the same person gets a different card year, every year, whether they asked for one or not.

The whole timing layer runs on birth card plus age. Nothing else. Two Queens of Clubs who are both 40 share a yearly spread. The same person at 41 does not. Birthdays are not neutral.
So Cardology can get specific about a year without asking for anything past the birthday. No birth time. No questionnaire. The inputs were already enough. They usually are.
The long cycle you are already inside
The spreads do not reshuffle from year to year. They sit inside a long repeating structure. The tradition treats that sequence as a cycle a person moves through across a lifetime, with certain ages marking notable turns. You are somewhere on it right now.

Using age well in a reading, then counting again
Confirm the age before you read a year. The spread for age 39 is not the spread for age 40. Off-by-one errors produce readings that are confident and wrong, which is the worst kind.
